Mrs. Nellie Kelso Shaney, wife of Harry T. Shaney, died Saturday evening at the home of her sister, Mrs. M. C. Thornton, on Upper Elm street, after an illness of about ten week of a complication of diseases. Mrs. Shane/s maiden name was Tuley, she being the youngest child of Benjamin F. Tuley and wife, both many years deceased, and who were well known to nearly everybody in this city. Deceased had been married but about four months, and had been bedfast most of herwedded life. She leaves one brotheq Thomas Woodruff Turley, of Cincinnati, and one sister, Mrs. M. C. Thornton, of this city. Mrs. Shaney was a most excellent young woman and her taking offin the very flower of life, will be mourned and regretted by a large circle of relatives and friends. Her age was about twenty-seven years. The funeral took place Monday afternoon from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Thornton, and as largely attended. Rev. J. A. Ward, pastor of Wesley Chapel, of which church the deceased was a member, preached the funeral discourse.
