The Waxahachie Daily Light, December 28, 1935 Obituary Maypearl, Texas--MRS. BROOKS DIES AT HOME IN MAYPEARL Mrs. J. J. Brooks, 65, of Maypearl, mother of Mrs. Elmer F. Hensley of t his city, died at her home in Maypearl this morning at 2:30 o'clock. S he had been in failing health for some time. Funeral services will be h eld Sunday afternoon at the first Baptist Church, Maypearl, with the R ev. L. B. Jenkins and the Rev. E. R. Stiles officiating. Burial will b e in the Maypearl Cemetery. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Hensley; three grandchildren, Hallowe en, Adalene and Elmer Frank Hensley, all of Waxahachie; two step-daugh ters, Mrs. J. F. Fitzgerald of Paul Valley's, Oklahoma and Mrs. C. H. S ims of Cedar Hill.
