| Enlisted in the US Army (Army serial number 36658726) Killed in action, October 11, 1944 in the Katerbosch-Mook plain, The Netherlands, by a shellburst. At that time his unit was attached to the 325th Glider Infantry Regiment. Temporary burial at Molenhoek, The Netherlands, Plot B, Row 3, Grave 57.
