In the 1850 Census, James, the last son of William S. and Rebecca is in t he home of Nancy (Lamar) Goble or Gogle and her husband, William Goble o r Gogle. It could be that Elizabeth Lasher Lamar did not like children o r, that Rebecca could have died inchildbirth and the boy went to live w ith his sister when William re-married.
