On 1 October 1689, John Pleasants, attorney for the executors of John Beauchamp, deceased, mutually agreed with Richard Cocke Sr, Thomas Cocke Sr and Richard Cocke Jr, three sons of Richard Cocke the Elder of Bremo in the County of Henrico, deceased, to equally divide two large tracts of land in Henrico County that were purchased by Richard Cocke the Elder and John Beauchamp on 21 June 1664 (Henrico, Virginia Deeds & Wills 1688-1697, page 88).
