On 2 March 1703, Stephen Cocke and Martha his wife of the parish and county of Henrico sell to Thomas Cocke of the same parish and county, for "fourscore pounds of good and lawful money of England", all their right, title and interest in the land whereon they now live, being on "Mallborn Hills" in the parish and county of Henrico, containing about 200 acres, "Beginning at a mark't tree standing near the creek above the upper landing, mark't for a dividing line between the aforesaid Thomas Cocke and the land here mentioned", and bounded by "land which Thomas Cocke Sen'r, father of the above said Thomas, bought of his brothers, William and John Cocke", and by John Pleasants.
