Sherman Democrat, October 17, 1948-Page 12, Section 1 Obituary Sherman, Texas--Griffin Walker Tuley, 79, died at 10:30 a. m. Saturday a t his home in Van Alstyne. Funeral arrangements are pending the arrival of a son from Virginia but will be conducted by Fox-Fanning Funeral Home. Interment will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery. Mr. Tuley was born October 19 1868, the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Tuley . He is survived by his wife; five sons, Bill Tuley of Plano, Marvin Tuley of Van Alstyne, Preston Tuley of Terrell, M. S. Tuley of Huntsville and Charles Tuley of the Navy, stationed in Virginia; six daughters , Mrs. Emily Sauls of Aubrey, Mrs. Edna Morris and Mrs. Lillie Jay of V an Alstyne, Mrs. Laura Angle of Sherman, Mrs. B. M. Biby and Mrs. Laurine Coonrod, b oth of Denison; two brothers, L. A. Tuley of Lancaster and M. M. Tuley o f Sherman; 27 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. |
