Notes

Enos Seth Tuley, president and secretary of the Kentucky and Louisville Mutual Insurance Company, who was Assistant Postmaster at Louisville for nearly half of a century died suddenly Monday morning at his home, I I I West Kentucky street, that city, of angina pectoris. Death came with shocking suddenness. Mr. Tuley, who had apparently been in his usual health for some time, arose Monday morning and took breakfast with his family at 8 o'clock. At 8:30 o'clock he had an attack of acute indigestion and at the same time he complained of a pain in the heart. His son, Dr. Henry E. Tuley, was with him when the attack came and succeeded in alleviating the pain, and in fifteen minutes Mrs. Tuley said that he was so much improved that he insisted upon the doctor's departure to attend to his professional duties. He remarked that he would start for his office soon. A few minutes later Mr. Tuley toppled over dead. Dr. Tuley had hardly gotten out of the house. He was called back, but, it was too late. Mr. Tuley was born in this city about 66 years ago and had lived in Louisville nearly 50 years. He married Miss Mary Speed, who survives with the following children: Dr. Henry E. Tuley, Mr. Philip S. Tuley, president and secretary of the Louisville Cotton Mills, and Mr. Thos. S. Tuley, bookkeeper at the Fidelity Safety Vault and Title Company.
