Sherman Democrat, October 15, 1953 Obituary Sherman, Texas--MADISON TULLY DIES; FUNERAL SERVICES SET Funeral services were scheduled for Tuesday at 4 p. m. for Madison Monroe Tully, 79, who died in a Sherman hospital. He lived at 121 East Hou ston Street. Rev. J. I. Gregory of Van Alstyne was to conduct the serv ices, assisted by Rev. C. G. Graves ofSherman. Pallbearers were Delma r F. Canon, Clifford McClendon, Marvin Wooten, Horace Bailey, Claude La ckey, G. F. "Ball" Ferguson and Ray Fogle. Mr. Tully was a native of Nashville, Tennessee. His late wife was the former Miss Susie Howard Roberts. He came to Texas 66 years ago and to Grayson County 48 years ago. He wa a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include five daughters; Mrs.Vera Franklin, Mrs. Esther Smith, and Mrs. Wade Smith, all of Sherman, Mrs. C. K. McClendon of Leonard an d Mrs. E. H. White of Farmington; one son, Raymond Tully of Ennis and t en grandchildren. |
