| In 1825, Benjamin and Samuel Lamar formed the Bethleham Regular Baptist C hurch. The first services were held in Samuel's home on the northwest s ide of Newtonville. Benjamin later deeded his land for the church and a c emetery, where he is buried alongside his wife. |
