BURRIED Memory Lawn Memorial Park Grave Lot 11, Block 8, Sec 2. 2ND TRIBUTE TO STELLA DELOMA TULEY BY HER DAUGHTER DELOMA JANE PHILLIPS U NKOWN OCCASION: Some say its never wise or good To look back and remember. But you know I think its special When Life has reached September. To reminisce our childhood days. Those happy carefree hours. How little did we realize then The treasures that were ours. In the springtime when the orchard Blossomed forth its new coiffure. And the meadowlark's sweet concert Gave all outdoors gay allure. By the garden fence tall hollyhocks Like sentinels in the breeze, Ragged Robins, Bachelor Buttons, Clover bobbing at the bees. On the bank of the trickling brook, The tiny violets grew. The yellow buttercups popped up To nod their heads at you. And as sure as springtime blossomed Cheeks are wet with summer rain. All God's creatures busy growing - Life and limb to sustain. Summer fades and brown leaves fall When the birds have flown the nest. And we wonder through Life's seasons, How we proudly stood the test. Through our Mother's eyes we saw them - Birds and bees and flowers strong. Her awareness, steadfast guidance, Made the seasons move along. All through springtime's precious beauty, Summer heat and gentle rain, Loving care and understanding Has brought us home again. Mother dear, although we're tardy With our tribute and our thanks. Accept our love - too oft unspoken You're the Queen Bee of our ranks. --expressing the sentiments of all of us - by Jane |
